Metroid Fusion: GF-X

Heheh I had to do this eventually...this was inspired by a few characters I know here on DA, liquid based of course

I decided I HAD to get in on the action XD so here's my living liquid character

This is also very much inspired by the game Metroid Fusion, which has these living gooey "X parasite" creatures which are "useful enemies" which Samus is able to absorb to refill her health and missile energy (come on, it MUST be energy, those things don't contain missiles <_> due to a surgical alteration to her DNA, when usually the X Parasites are deadly creatures capeable of destroying then copying creature DNA. Anyway, my idea was if the Galactic Federation (who Samus works for) captured a whole bunch of X Parasites they could find a way to "mind control" them to their cause (despite being simple blobs of goo, X Parasites are shockingly intelligent, even changing their usual behaviour of absorbing things to running away from Samus because they cannot hurt her) which they were able to do, and also make the specimen take on human-like forms.

When Samus was told by the Galactic Federation that they had changed an old enemy of hers, she expected it to be Ridley or one of the other major villains, she was shocked at what she saw next. An X Parasite was dormant inside a cage as a puddle, the Galactic Federation worker tapped on the cage, and the Parasite began to bubble, then rise out in a rather wierdly beautiful humanoid female shape. The worker told her that eventually these Galactic Federation Xs (GF-Xs) would be mass produced and used to copy the DNA of creatures Samus met on the field, making the clones far more intelligent than they would normally (the GF-X is far more intelligent than regular X Parasites, sharing the intelligence and personality capeability of a human child of 8 years old) so they could be used by the Federation.

This little girl also has the same powers as the normal X Parasite including floating, infecting things and copying their appearance. You could say they're a little like the Pokemon Ditto, except that they also copy the creature's memories, which I gather is why "X"-Ridley takes an instant hatred to Samus when it discovers her, I intend to use this to create some characters out of Metroid enemies.
